Amanda Bok

Amanda Bok is Chief Partnership Officer with the global non-profit organization, The Synergist, whose mission is to address complex societal challenges through multi-stakeholder collaborative programmes. At The Synergist she is also the spokesperson, member of the senior leadership team, lead incubator of the ‘Global Patient Movement Catalyst’ initiative, and member of the IHI REaDI core leadership team, whose mission is to increase DEI in clinical trials.

Amanda was formerly a recognised patient advocate in the field of hemophilia and rare bleeding disorders (including 11 years as CEO of the European Haemophilia Consortium). She is a former member of the European Commission Expert Group on Rare Diseases, the European Patients’ Forum (EPF) Ethics Committee, the European Commission’s co-funded project EUHANET, and a EUPATI Fellow (cohort 1).

Prior to joining patient advocacy, Amanda worked in international humanitarian aid, European affairs and journalism. She holds a MSc from the LSE in the UK (2001) and has co-authored several academic papers. She is currently an ambassador of the European Intuitive Trainers Network (EUNITA), whose mission is to better serve the needs of disadvantaged adults.
