Dr Ole Johan Bakke is a general practitioner and a public health officer working in Holmestrand in Norway. He graduated from the University of Oslo’s faculty of medicine in 1988. He holds two specialties; one in Public Health and one in General Medicine. Dr Bakke was a member of the board of the Norwegian Medical Association from 2015 to 2023. He also chairs the committee for the Norwegian Medical Association’s fund for specialist education and was member of the board of the Norwegian Association of Public Health Officers until 2023. Furthermore, he has extensive experiences as a board member of various hospitals and other health organisations. Dr Bakke was CPME Vice President from 2019 to 2024 and is serving as CPME President for 2025 to 2027.
