John Soto is the Senior Vice President - International at Butterfly Network, Inc., In this role, John leads all international revenue-generating activities, overseeing the company's international sales, sales operations and enablement, strategic programs, and veterinary functions. Previously, John was Senior Vice President & General Manager at Vyaire Medical Inc, a privately owned medical device company focused on the delivery of Ventilators and Respiratory Diagnostic Products Globally. During his tenure John lead the Respiratory Diagnostics Franchise at Vyaire to Growth during the CIOVID 19 Pandemic.

John is a highly accomplished executive with over 32 years of experience in the medical device Industry spanning both public and private companies. John has experience with start-ups as and has held corporate leadership positions in Multi-Billion-dollar organizations. Prior to joining Butterfly Network, John held Senior Executive positions at other medical device companies, including Senior Vice President, Europe at KCI, where in 2018 he managed the European business to high double-digit Growth versus the Prior Year.

As Executive Vice President & CCO at AngioDynamics John managed the companies 3 Franchises to Growth and as Senior Vice President of Smith & Nephew’s Global Hip Franchise John managed a $740M business to double digit growth during his tenure. John has a deep understanding of the medical device industry and the challenges and opportunities facing companies in this space. John is a strategic thinker with a strong focus on execution. He is also a highly effective leader with a proven ability to build and motivate teams. He is passionate about the medical device industry and is committed to helping patients live healthier lives.
