Gabriella Abruzzo works at Health Care Without Harm Europe as a Climate Projects Officer. In this role, she focuses on healthcare climate resilience, through two EU-funded projects: the LIFE RESYSTAL project, which aims to increase the climate resilience capacity of healthcare infrastructure in Europe, and the MOUNTADAPT project, which has the goal to enhance the climate resilience capacity of the health system in mountain areas and limit the impact on health and well-being of direct or indirect effects of climate change. Previously, while also at HCWH Europe, she worked on decarbonisation, supporting the HCWH Europe members in managing and reducing their carbon footprint.
