Janek Kapper is the founder of the Estonian Inflammatory Bowel Disease Society. Since the association founding in 2015, he has been the association's CEO and chairman of the board, and he has been involved in the empowerment of patients with ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease.
He is also a patient diagnosed with Crohn's disease back in 1996, when he was 18 years old. He is interested in many patient issues, but today he is primarily committed to e-health.
Janek represents the Estonian Chamber of Disabled People in the EPF digital health working group and is the EPF's representative in EHDEN as an ethical advisor. In addition, he represents the Estonian Chamber of Disabled People in the steering group of the new generation Estonian health information system.
We are proud to announce that EPF Congress 2021 is Patients Included™. This means that EPF is committed to incorporating the experience of patients as experts in living with their condition while ensuring they were neither excluded nor exploited.More information
